Our Team
All the members of our team have faith in the God who created the universe and every person in it, who loves and cares for each of those people, and who expressed that love both in the Bible and most perfectly in his son, Jesus Christ. Although from diverse Christian traditions, the team embraces the Nicene Creed as a summary of the Christian faith.
Bob Beer
Bob uses neuroscience to develop resources that equip people to learn at an accelerated pace. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Bob founded DrawNear and leads the R&D team.
Matt Lewis
Matt specializes in helping pastors renew their spiritual vitality. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Ashland Theological Seminary. Matt assists with the writing of practice steps and serves as the team’s theological expert.
Dave Nuss
Dave serves as the pastor of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Toledo. He has two master’s degrees from Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary and a License in Theology from Catholic University. Dave specializes in developing new products and services.
Rebecca Przybylski
Rebecca is a former pastor who creates and facilitates retreats and workshops. She has a Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary. Rebecca specializes in developing new ways to equip pastors and ministry leaders.
Garnett Slatton
Garnett is a professor at Vanderbilt University, an executive coach, and a retired large-church pastor. He has a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. Garnett writes stories and assists with the development of strategy.
